INDUSTRY'S ANSWER TO IN-LINE ADDITIVE INJECTION

4t-cad.gif (14225 bytes)

The 4T installs in a straight run of pipe and can handle nominal flow rates to 750 GPM. Utilizing a heavy duty dual shaft gearbox, the 4T is capable of driving up to four (4) individual injector heads. This combination can produce very large injection ratios of a single product or dispense up to four (4) separate additives simultaneously; all at different ratios. With the ability to begin with one additive and add up to three (3) more later, the 4T can grow with your blending program without the need for additional systems.

COMPLETELY SELF CONTAINED UNITS
The efficient Hammonds fluid powered turbine "borrows" just enough energy from the flowing product line to do the job. No need for electricity, air or pressurized additive lines.

TOTALLY UNASSISTED INJECTION
Complete, passive operation means they automatically operate when the rest of the system operates. No need to remember to turn the injector on or off. If it is connected to a system, it "remembers" when to run, how much to run and when to stop. The operator has nothing to remember, nothing to adjust, nothing to forget.

METERS AND PULSERS ARE NOT REQUIRED
Because our fluid motor is responsive to product flow, they require no directions, pulses or controls from outside meters. Our drivers respond smoothly to changes in flow rates, maintaining accurate injection ratios over the full range of your system's operating conditions. There are no pulsers to buy and no electrical lines to run.

INSTALLATION IS SIMPLE AND ECONOMICAL
With a Hammonds system, there is only one simple mechanical pipe connection. No wiring in hazardous conditions, no additional equipment on other parts of the system to install, no concrete work, or costly site engineering to layout pipes, conduits, pumps and skids. In most cases, a system can be ordered that will "drop in" to your existing piping, requiring very little on-site preparation.

GUARANTEED PRECISION BLENDING
Unlike some systems that inject large slugs into the product at metered intervals, the Hammonds injector continuously dispenses a precise measured rate of additive that matches the existing flow rate. There are no gaps in the injection process. Since the injection point is usually upstream of the fluid motor, thorough blending of product and additive is achieved.

ON/OFF OPERATION
Additive can be turned on or off at injector or with an optional remote control panel with sight flow indicators. Remote electronic controls are also available.

ADDITIVE SUPPLY
Flooded suction is preferred, moderate suction lift is acceptable, supply should not be pressurized. With appropriate criteria, additive may be drawn from remote tanks.

RATIO STABILITY AT LOW FLOWS
Even if startup and shutdown flow rates are below stated minimums, unit can be calibrated to maintain overall ratios. The system will maintain ratio for total product throughput.

MOUNTING ATTITUDE
Unit can be installed in vertical or horizontal attitude.

LOCATION
No restrictions on mounting adjacent to turns, valves or other pipe fittings.

BACK PRESSURE
Pressure and flow rates are not significantly affected. Factory can furnish specifics.

Differential pressure at 750 GPM = Less than 5 PSI
